As a cub becomes a Lion
a pony a Stallion,
a seed a Wild Rose!
The Purpose of Becoming
a Buddhist isn't to remain a Buddhist but to become a Buddha!
a Christian isn't to remain a Christian but to become a Christ!
To become a Buddha is to become a Christ,
To become a Christ is to become a Buddha
to become either is to transcend religions,
to become an Enlightened Light to lead others out of suffering
to "embrace" the darkness within themselves & help others do the same
to transcend separation & lead others to heal their fragmented selves!
To remain a Christian or remain a Buddhist is to do a disservice. It is to remain at war within yourself and so with others who, more than are like you, are you!
Being either is not nor has ever been about being perfect.
That too would be a disservice, because in not being able to accept imperfections within yourself you are not able to accept them within others who, more than are like you, are you!
Only through acceptance can love make changes that sustain!
Rather you become indifferent to differences,
perfectly imperfect- in awe and honor of them.
It is only through - and while remaining human
-you may become a Buddha or a Christ.
It is only by accepting others and helping them along their path
to Christhood or a Buddhood- you may yourself
become a Buddha or a Christ.
In so saying,
I honor the Christ & Buddha within you
the Buddha & Christ that is you!
